As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new leads and sales opportunities while working with our existing customers to grow our business. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and willing to grow with our sales team. You will work directly with the sales, marketing, and analytical staff to gain industry knowledge of biodegradability testing and analytical chemistry.
Duties & Responsibilities
▶ Provide superior customer service throughout the entire sales process.
▶ Do cold outreach, develop and qualify leads, and close sales in a professional manner.
▶ Prepare new sales proposals, concepts, and strategies along with internal reports.
▶ Maintains up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends & government regulations.
▶ 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience (related industry and/or enterprise sales a plus).
▶ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, environmental science, chemistry, materials science, or equivalent work experience.
▶ Able to work in-office at our Cleveland location.
▶ Flexibility to work with changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced research environment.
Starting compensation range: $40,000-$75,000 (Base + OTE)
